The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County Appoints Four New Members to Board of Directors

 

 

Media, PA – The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County is pleased to announce the newest additions to its Board of Directors with the election of Amy Wall-Monte, Catharine McGeever, Allison Orman and Shareefah Spencer. Their diverse professional backgrounds and expertise in legal services, non-profit management, marketing, human resources, and healthcare will strengthen DAP’s ability to provide essential services, advocate for survivors and advance its mission of ending domestic violence in our community.

“DAP’s newest board members bring an exceptional amount of personal and professional gifts to the leadership of our organization,” said Rev. Alina Gayeuski, president of the board. “Their willingness to share their gifts through board leadership ensures that DAP can continue providing life-saving services while being guided by thoughtful and committed leaders. We are fortunate to have so many people who support this work throughout Delaware County and we are excited to welcome these four new members to the board.”

Amy Wall-Monte

Amy Wall-Monte, LL.M., J.D. is the Marketing Director at Berger Montague, a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ class action firm in Philadelphia. A non-practicing attorney with over 15 years of legal industry experience, she has served as Executive Director of both Habitat for Humanity’s South Philadelphia chapter and the Early Stage East/Delaware Innovation Fund. A Springfield, Delaware County resident, Amy is personally committed to empowering victims of abuse and domestic violence prevention in her community. She holds a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and an LL.M. in International and European Law from Utrecht University.

Catherine McGeever

Catharine McGeever has been a member of the executive search firm Lambert & Associates team since its inception in 1996.  As Managing Partner, Cathy is responsible for working directly with clients and managing all aspects of the search process.  With over 35 years of experience in the executive search industry, Cathy’s background includes search execution and management for a broad spectrum of nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Lambert & Associates, Cathy was a Manager in the Organizational Consulting Practice at the Philadelphia office of Laventhol and Horwath, an international public accounting/management consulting firm.  She honed her skills recruiting at Garofolo, Curtiss, Lambert & McLean Co, a national executive search firm. Cathy has been a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). She is currently a member of the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants. Cathy recently served a nine-year term on the Board of Merion Mercy Academy.

Allison Orman

Allison Orman is a strategic human resources executive with deep expertise in total rewards, employee wellbeing, and organizational transformation. She currently serves as Associate Vice President, Total Rewards at Main Line Health, where she leads the development of compensation and benefits programs that support workforce wellbeing, engagement, and equitable access to care. Before joining Main Line Health, Allison spent nearly two decades at Comcast in senior leadership roles, most recently as Executive Director of Global Benefits. In that role, she led the strategy and implementation of health, financial, and wellbeing programs across 30 countries, with a strong focus on enhancing access to mental health resources, women’s health initiatives, and employee support services. Allison is honored to support the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County in its mission to provide safety, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

 Shareefah Spencer

Shareefah Spencer, BSN, RN, AMB-BC is a registered nurse, healthcare leader, survivor, and advocate dedicated to advancing health equity through service, education, and community engagement. Currently an Ambulatory Care Nurse with Jefferson Health, Shareefah is expected to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Health Policy in August 2026 and will begin Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) studies in the fall, continuing her commitment to healthcare leadership, policy, and systems change. Shareefah, who first served as a member of the board’s Advancement Committee, is also a member of the Board of Directors for HealthEducated, Inc. She is also a proud member and chapter officer of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., where she promotes leadership, scholarship, and service within the nursing profession. Drawing from both her professional expertise and lived experience as a survivor, Shareefah is honored to support the Domestic Abuse Project’s mission of empowering survivors, preventing abuse, and fostering hope, healing, and lasting change throughout the community.

DAP welcomes the perspectives, leadership and dedication of its newest board members as the organization continues to provide safety and support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
