Planned Giving
Leave a legacy. Empower countless lives with a little of your life savings!
Planned gifts are the ultimate expression of generosity and commitment to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County and of caring and concern for the long term safety of the victim and survivors we serve. These gifts can be funded using cash, securities, or estate gifts. As a qualified not-for-profit institution, gifts made to DAP are exempt from income taxes, as well as gift and estate taxes, to the extent of and in the amount provided by federal and state laws.
How does my planned gift help victims of domestic violence?
Every gift, no matter how large or small, helps create safety for victims of domestic violence and their children. When you make a planned gift to us, you will be supporting lifesaving services which include counseling, legal advocacy and legal representation, safe shelter, and housing services.
Will or Trust
Probably the easiest and most common way of leaving a planned gift to care for the survivors at the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County is to leave us in your will or trust.
How to include DAP in your will:
