DAP Expands Legal Services & Welcomes New Staff Attorney

The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Inc. (DAP) is strengthening its legal services to better support survivors of domestic abuse. Thanks to funding from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence’s (PCADV) Civil Legal Representation (CLR) program, this expansion will:

  • Continue to offer legal representation for Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders
  • Expand to provide legal representation and advice for matters of child custody, support and divorce, landlord/tenant disputes, immigration issues, etc
  • Establish and maintain a Pro bono Attorney Volunteer Program
  • Establish and conduct ongoing Outreach Legal Clinic Programs

As part of this initiative, DAP is excited to welcome Kelly Campbell, Esq., as a part-time staff attorney. Kelly, a graduate of Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, has dedicated her career to family law and legal advocacy for underserved communities. She most recently served as a Family Law Staff Attorney at Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia, providing legal assistance in custody, support, landlord-tenant, and immigration matters.

“I wanted to work at DAP because I am passionate about advocating for individuals in my community who need support,” says Kelly. “Everyone deserves access to resources and guidance during difficult times, and DAP offers a unique and vital service to those in need. The legal team’s expertise in navigating the legal system for domestic abuse survivors makes this position an ideal opportunity for me to apply my skills and passion for advocacy.”

This expansion is led by Kalli Badolato, Esq., Director of Legal Services, who emphasizes the importance of legal representation in helping survivors achieve safety and stability.

“Expanding our legal department ensures that survivors of domestic abuse are not just heard, but protected and empowered,” says Kalli. “Legal services are not just about access—they’re about safety, justice, and the ability to rebuild lives.”

DAP remains committed to breaking the cycle of abuse through direct legal support, advocacy, and empowerment.
